RCO secretary-general receives Isa Award winners

Manama, June 4 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed Al-Amin, has received the Board of Trustees Chairman of the Children's Cancer Hospital Egypt (CCHE), Dr. Amro Ezzet Salama, along with a delegation from CCHE officials. Dr. Al-Sayed conveyed to the delegation greetings from HM the King’s Personal Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, and RCO’s Board of Trustees Chairman, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and his congratulations to them for being granted the third edition of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity, as well as wishes of further success. Dr. Al-Sayed also briefed the delegation about RCO, and about the number of orphans and widows who are sponsored by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, RCO’s Honorary President. He highlighted the various services provided by RCO to its affiliates, as well as its efforts to provide relief aid to brotherly and friendly countries, in line with the directives of HM the King and HH Shaikh Nasser. CCHE board chairman lauded HM the King’s fatherly interest in and care for orphans and widows, and great support for charitable and humanitarian work inside and outside Bahrain. Dr. Salama voiced pride in the pivotal role played by the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance charity and humanitarian work all over the world, commending the efforts of RCO, led by HH Shaikh Nasser, to highlight such a noble humanitarian work to the fullest through delivering assistance to needy people all over the world.
