RCO wins HRH Princess Sabeeka's Award for Productive Families

Manama, Mar. (BNA): Secretary-General of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed Al-Ameen, has extended sincere thanks and appreciation to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) for patronising the ceremony to distribute the prizes of her Award for Productive Families 2017. He expressed RCO's pride in winning the Best Sponsor of Productive Families prize, noting that the achievement is the fruitful outcome of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, RCO's Honorary President, and the leadership of HM the King's Personal Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of RCO's Board of Trustees, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Al-Sayed made the statements following RCO's winning of the HRH Princess Sabeeka's Award for Productive Families 2017. He commended the efforts of Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Secretary-General of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) and Executive Director of INJAZ Bahrain, pledging that RCO will spare no effort to continue supporting productive families to empower them economically. Thanks to the support of the leadership, the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the backing of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, and the leadership of Shaikh Nasser, RCO has become a model to be emulated at the Arab and international levels. He affirmed that RCO's work has contributed to the Kingdom's ranking first at the GCC and Arab level and 13th at the international level in the World Giving Index. He reiterated RCO's resolve to implement the directives of HM the King and Shaikh Nasser and continue its charitable and humanitarian work inside and outside Bahrain to raise the kingdom's banners at all various local and international gatherings.
