Rescue Team Has Not Discovered Other DPRD Members In W Sumatra
Padang, W Sumatra, May 29 (Antara) - The joint Search and Rescue (SAR) team has not yet discovered the missing "Napak Tilas" entourage, led by the Chairman of Regional Legislative Council (DPRD) Syafri Datuk Siri Marajo in Solok District, W Sumatra.
The group departed from Koto Sani Sub-district on Saturday and planned to arrive in Padang City on Sunday. But the entourage hasn`t made their finish yet up to Wednesday.
"The search effort since Tuesday evening to Wednesday at 07.00 am are still far from discovering the sign of another DPRD entourage," said Chief of Padang Mitigation Agency and Fire Brigade Budi Erwanto, here, Wednesday.
According to him, there are at least 21 members from 43 persons of "Napak Tilas" entourage has not been discovered by the team yet.
There are at least two SAR team that conduct searching efforts which consist of 35 persons; one team derived from Battalion 133 of Padang and another team from Joint Secretariat of nature activists.
The searching effort will be started from several posts that consist of Lori, Air Dingi, Lubuk Minturun of Koto Tangah Sub-district, as well as Padang City and Lalang City of Kuranji Sub-district.
"We predicted the distance of the SAR group post to the nearest point of the lost entourage is about three kilometers," Erwanto said.
He said the entourage had traced Jorong Ujungladang, Nagari Koto Sani of X Koto Singkarak Sub-district of Solok District to Lalang Belimbing Market area at Kuranji Sub-district of Padang City.
The rescue team has discovered at least 19 persons of entourage on Tuesday at 10.30 and arrived in SAR post at Pasa Lalang Belimbing of Kuranji Sub-district, Padang City at 12.00 am.
The 19 entourage members found are consist of Rusdi, Kiri, Edison, Met, Anton, Nazar, Cion, Ajo, Bujang, Mus, Et, Ahmad, Naf, Zalman, Chandra, Zul, If, Mulyadi, and Mai.
"They are being treated by the doctor in the post to check their health," Erwanto said.
Mulyadi said the 19 persons in the "Napak Tilas" group were able to reach Aia Dingin Lubuk Minturun area of Padang City on Tuesday at 10.30 and arrived in the rescue post of Pasa Lalang Belimbing at 12.00 am.
"Those 19 persons of entourage are located within five kilometers with another `Napak Tilas` group as we go over before them and passed a night in a hilly area on Sunday evening," Mulyadi said.
He added the entourage was shortage of food supply and consumed only rice with salt on the last two days.
"We are exhausted after our food stocks are running out and we consumed rice with salt in last two days," he added.
