RUSSIAN TEACHERS WORKING IN BAYAN-UIGII AIMAG

Bayan-Ulgii /MONTSAME/ Teachers and students of the Gorno-Altaisk State University of Russia are teaching Russian language in primary schools of Bayan-Ulgii aimag. A group of teachers and students led by Deputy Director in charge of foreign affairs of Gorno-Altaisk State University N.A.Yurkova arrived in Ulgii city on April 2, 2018. Head of the Russian language center in Bayan-Ulgii aimag Kh.Juldiz said: "Teachers will work in our aimag for one month. This work is being implemented within the scope of 'Promoting Russian language in Western Mongolia' project. Currently they are teaching Russian language in the primary schools of Ulgii city with a specific schedule. Also, they met with administration of Bayan-Ulgii aimag's education and art department, directors of aimag's central schools, Russian language teachers and discussed on the future cooperation issues." In addition, they have agreed tentatively to cooperate with Bayan-Ulgii aimag on organizing a vacation in Russia for children during summer, recruiting students to Gorno-Altaisk State University and improving professional skills of primary school teachers.
