Sabah Govt Agrees To Reopen Quota For Foreign Workers

KOTA KINABALU (Malaysia), Nov 17 (Bernama) -- The Sabah government has agreed to reopen the quota for foreign workers involving seven service sub-sectors in the state. They are the restaurant workers; retail shop assistants; tyre shop workers; cleaners; motor vehicle washers; motor workshop workers; and laundry shop workers. The State Secretariat here made the announcement in a press statement released here, Wednesday. Following the decision, all employers in the sub-sectors mentioned could apply for the foreign workers quota. They could submit their formal application to the State Secretary immediately. -- BERNAMA
