Saudi services to Islam, Muslims praised

Manama, Feb. 6 (BNA): Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi has praised the services of the Saudi government led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, provided to Islam and Muslim worshippers to ensure the serene and convenient performance of their rituals. The minister denounced the malicious calls aimed to smear the Kingdom Saudi Arabia and its historic services in a desperate bid to politicise religious rituals or internationalise the Two Holy Mosques. Al Romaihi told "Al Sharq Al Awsat" daily that "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s comprehensive facilitations and services to visitors of the Holy Kaaba and the Prophet’s Mosque have always been appreciated by the entire Muslim world, as millions year after year have felt the expansion projects in the Two Holy Mosques, and the advanced and complete security, organizational, accommodation, health and catering services provided by Saudi Arabia to the ‘Guests of Al Rahman’ and ensuring their security and safety during performance of their rituals in amicable spiritual atmospheres despite the Satanic conspiracies aimed to commit acts of violence, terrorism, strife and turmoil." He stressed that the great Saudi efforts cannot be overlooked or negated except by the dismissive and malicious or someone who does not want the welfare of the Muslim Umma, its unity, cohesiveness or progress. He described the suspicious calls to "internationalize the Two Holy Mosques" as unethical errors that bespeak of malice, and political bankruptcy and ignorance about the historic role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in spreading the Islamic call and the values of moderateness and fairness, establishing Islamic educational centres and providing humanitarian and relief assistance worldwide. The minister stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the cradle of Islam and the Qibla of the Muslim world historically been honoured to serve Haj and Umrah performers, led by its wise leadership who never procrastinated to serve Islam and Muslims, and who dedicated the country’s human and material capabilities in bringing together the Muslim Umma in amity, fraternity and tolerance, aloof from sedition, hate, political or sectarian disputes. He added that the Kingdom’s value, status and sovereignty are stronger than machinations and chattering, and will always be the ‘Redline that should not be undermined or overlooked’.
