Scientific Level of Sports Education Raised in DPRK

Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- Teaching units in Pyongyang City of the DPRK have made scores of achievements conducive to putting the sports education on a scientific basis this year. New teaching methods and various sports apparatuses were invented and manufactured. Among them are a gymnastics dance teaching method, presented by Tongdaewon Primary School in Tongdaewon District, and an exercise-in file teaching method by Taehung Primary School in Songyo District. There are also superior effective teaching methods helpful to improving the running ability and consolidating the students' volleyball and table-tennis basic technical movements. Several schools in the city manufactured sports apparatuses for the students' physical development. -0-
