SERIES OF TRAINING ON SYSTEM ANALYSIS HELD IN MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Monitoring, Evaluation and Internal Audit Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a series of training under topics 'Conducting Policy Analysis through System Analysis Approach' and 'Using System Analysis for Organizational Activities' on October 5-9. Associate Professor Ya.Byambasuren, Rector of the National Academy of Governance, and Professor B.Ariuntuul gave lectures on the system theory, an analysis of operational planning, the general theory of governance and a system approach. The training touched upon issues of correctly defining the mission of an organization, the involvement of each employee in achieving its goal, properly allocating capacity and resources, providing continuous information, organizational planning and increasing efficiency. The system thinking and system theory research are highly developed at a scientific level around the world and commonly used in improving organizational activities. There are also many good practices that have achieved through this methodology in many countries and international organizations. As for Mongolia, business entities have started introducing this method in their operations and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has become the first governmental organization to introduce the diagnostic analysis into its activities.
