Shaikh Nasser awards Al Najma winner of HM the King Football Cup

Manama, Feb. 15 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has delegated Representative to HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to attend HM the King Football Cup final held between Muharraq Club and Al Najma Club. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad presented Al Najma players with the gold medals and the tournament cup. He also distributed silver medals to Muharraq, the runner up team. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad took pride in attending the final match on behalf of HM the King, welcoming the royal support for sports and youth movement, which provides further impetus for bringing more achievements to the homeland. He congratulated Al Najma club on wining HM the King Football Cup after demonstrated a remarkable team effort. He extended congratulations to Al Najma Club chaired by Isa Al Qattan on the outstanding accomplishment. He hailed the winning team’s extraordinary efforts, wishing them more successes to come. He also extended congratulations to Bahrain Football Association led by Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa on the exceptional organization of the game.
