Shura chairman receives ambassador to India

Manama, Feb. 1 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, received here today the newly-appointed Bahraini Ambassador to India, Abdulrahman Al-Qaud. Al-Saleh wished the envoy every success in developing the deep-rooted friendly Bahraini-Indian relations. The Shura Council chairman also discussed with the ambassador a number of topics related to the existing relations with India, including the legislative ones, highlighting Bahrain’s keenness on bolstering its relations with all countries to achieve national interests. Ambassador Al-Qaud expressed sincere thanks to Al-Saleh for the meeting, lauding the efforts being exerted by the Shura Council to enhance the legislative system in the kingdom.
