Six soldiers killed in Pattani bomb

PATTANI, June 19 (TNA) - Six soldiers were killed and four others were wounded in a bomb attack while they were on patrol in the southern province of Pattani. The incident happened before noon while ten soldiers were on duty, patrolling on a road in Thung Yang Daeng district in this violence-plagued province. According to the initial investigation, a remote controlled bomb was buried underground on their routine patrol route. The explosion also damaged the pick-up truck, carrying ten soldiers. Four wounded soldiers remain hospitalized. (TNA)
