Southern Governor listens to citizens' service needs

Manama, Feb. 6 (BNA): HH Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa has paid a field visit to Khalifa City service venues to learn about the extent to which they meet the citizens’ needs and aspirations.  The visit aims to follow up the implementation of HRH the Prime Minister’s directives on speeding up the construction work at sport facilities in Askar and Jow villages.  The governor was informed of the maintenance progress of Asker youth center and citizens’ remakes about developing it.  He noted the Southern Governorate’s efforts to communicate with the Health Ministry for the establishment of a health center in the same areas. He underlined the need for protecting the historic sites in the area for their historic significance.
