Spanish Foreign Minister: Spain Is A Friend Of Iraq And Supports Him In Its War Against Terrorism

Baghdad, Iraq (NINA) - The Spanish Foreign Minister, Alfonso Dastis Quecedo said that his country is a friend of Iraq and stood by Him in its difficult circumstances and the war against terrorism and Iraq can rely on Spain in various fields. He pointed out that the geographical dimension is no longer an obstacle to the establishment of relations between countries because today's relations are based on promoting common interests and facing common dangers. He added: "We look forward to activating the work of the technical committees and preparing and speeding up the meeting of the Joint Iraqi-Spanish Committee because of its significant impact in deepening the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Madrid and the continued support of friendly countries to Iraq financially, humanely and service and contribute to the reconstruction of infrastructure of Iraqi cities after the elimination of Daesh."
