Speaker praises 'Isa Award for Service to Humanity'

Manama, June 3 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, has asserted that the “Isa Award for Service to Humanity” is a Bahraini humanitarian message to the entire world.
It is also part of the pioneering “humanitarian diplomacy” adopted by Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, at international gatherings to raise awareness on humanitarian issues, encourage everyone to engage in service to humanity and set role models for the future generations, the speaker said.
Al-Mulla extended heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HM King Hamad for patronising the world award carrying the late Amir’s name, and confirming Bahrain’s efforts in the field of service to humanity.
He pointed out that holding the ceremony to hand over the third edition of the “Isa Award for Service to Humanity”, under HM the King’s patronage and in the presence of the Chairman of the award’s Board of Trustees, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, reflects Bahrain’s unwavering support to humanitarian efforts aimed at consolidating its international standing in this regard.
The speaker congratulated the Children's Cancer Hospital Egypt (CCHE), the winners of the third edition of the “Isa Award for Service to Humanity”, for their success in treating child cancer.
He reiterated the Representatives Council’s full support to Bahrain’s humanitarian initiatives and projects, being a strong approach adopted by the kingdom, under HM the King’s Reform Project and democratic process of which, he said, every Bahraini is proud.
