Speaker stressed depth of strategic Bahraini-Saudi relations

Manama, Apr. 21 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, has affirmed the depth of the deep-rooted Bahraini-Saudi relations, noting that they are based on a long history of mutual love, common destiny and joint strategic goals. The speaker stressed that the brotherly Bahraini-Saudi relations are constantly progressing thanks to the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. In this regard, Zainal lauded the successful visit of the Saudi King to Bahrain today, and his fruitful meeting and talks with HM King Hamad. The speaker valued highly the effective role played by sisterly Saudi Arabia, under King Salman’s leadership, to safeguard the region’s security, champion Arab and Islamic causes and serve pilgrims through providing them with all needed facilities. She asserted that Saudi Arabia’s supportive stances towards Bahrain will remain engraved in the hearts of all Bahrainis, who, she said, love Saudi Arabia and its leadership. The speaker said that the two brotherly countries have clearly laid down the foundations for a better and more prosperous future through the Economic Vision for Bahrain 2030 and the Vision of Saudi Arabia 2030, stressing that the progress boom witnessed by the two sisterly kingdoms across various sustainable development fields will reflect positively on the future of their peoples.
