Taekwon-Do Aces Loved by People

Pyongyang, February 23 (KCNA) -- Among sportspersons loved by the DPRK people are Sin Jong Hwa and Kim Su Ryon, players of the Taekwon-Do team of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee. They became the first quadruple world championship holders in the country after taking the first places at the women's individual 69kg and 75kg sparring matches of the 20th Taekwon-Do World Championships held last year. Sin held the championship at the 15th, 18th and 19th Taekwon-Do world championships and Kim at the 17th, 18th and 19th Taekwon-Do world championships. Sin bagged gold medals at the 7th World Juvenile Taekwon-Do Championship and the 4th, 5th and 7th Asian Taekwon-Do championships, while Kim at the 9th World Juvenile Taekwon-Do Championship and the 7th and 8th Asian Taekwon-Do championships.
