Tele-reeducation System for Anti-epidemic Workers to Be Updated in DPRK

Pyongyang, January 11 (KCNA) -- The tele-education faculty of Pyongyang University of Medicine and different units have striven to update the tele-reeducation system to further increase the ability of anti-epidemic workers. Those of the faculty developed a new tele-reeducation system for anti-epidemic workers to select the necessary subjects and receive lectures, regardless of time and place, and have steadily improved its operation method. Last year alone, more than 1 300 anti-epidemic workers across the country finished the tele-reeducation course. In the course they came to accumulate rich knowledge and experience to quickly solve the problems arising in anti-epidemic practice. Officials of the Ministry of Public Health and other relevant units gained experience and lessons from the operation of the tele-reeducation system last year and set a goal for upgrading the system so as to further enhance the practical abilities of anti-epidemic workers. Officials, teachers and researchers of the tele-education faculty and other units worked out training courses in a realistic way and are now stepping up the work to make teaching programs for each course and select competent anti-epidemic workers as lecturers. -0-
