Thai NLA organizes event marking 40 years AIPA

BANGKOK, September 1 (TNA) - Thailand's National Legislative Assembly (NLA) organizes a public forum in Bangkok, marking the 40th anniversary of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA). NLA President Pornpetch Wichitcholchai inaugurated the public forum, themed "Four Decades of AIPA", at the Thai Parliament building in the capital on Friday. A souvenir stamp, imprinted with the AIPA symbol and jointly issued by Thailandpost Co.,Ltd. and the Secretariat of the Thai House of Representatives as part of the celebration of the 40-year AIPA, was also introduced at the public forum. Several sets of the souvenir stamp, were presented to diplomats, delegates and observers of member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) participating in the regional public seminar.
