Thailand looks at improving e-tax scheme

BANGKOK, January 1 (TNA) - Thailand’s Revenue Department is preparing its all-new electronic tax invoice-receipt scheme to facilitate taxpayers who make online purchases. The department’s director-general Sathit Rankasiri, said the new system, designed wholly by Thai Digital ID Co., Ltd., would ensure consumers go through legitimate transactions, which would be a requisite for tax refunds.
