Thailand's MU Choir champions arrive home June 6

BANGKOK, June 5 (TNA) - Young members of a chorus of Thailand's Mahidol University who have brought fame to the nation by winning many prestigious prizes abroad is scheduled to return home on June 6. The MU Choir champions, led by Dr. Rit Subsomboon, who is both their conductor and coach, will arrive at Thailand's main Suvarnabhumi International Airport from Doha on Tuesday afternoon (local time). The MU Choir has grabbed the gold medal for the nation for the first time in the Grand Prix International, beating competitors from over 30 countries. The MU Choir has also won two more golds from the Festival of Songs Olomouc, held in Olomouc City of the Czech Republic. Besides, the Thai students' chorus has won two silvers from the Harmonie Festival in Germany, in which more than 200 chorus teams participated. (TNA)
