Third English Language Theme Park To Be Set Up In Terengganu

KUALA TERENGGANU (Terengganu, Malaysia), Jan 25 (Bernama) -- ExxonMobil is keen to sponsor a third English Language Theme Park in Kuala Berang, Hulu Terengganu in the east coast state of Terengganu. Farid Jaafar, Public and Government Affairs Manager at ExxonMobil Subsidiaries in Malaysia said the project was to meet its corporate social responsibility to boost the mastery of the language among pupils in Terengganu. The facility, expected to be set up this year, will be the third in the state after the ones in Kemasik and Tok Jiring. "With the setting up of the latest park, it is hoped that the pupils in Hulu Terengganu would be able to enjoy the learning of the English language," he told reporters here Wednesday.. Farid said, to date, the response from pupils to the two parks was very good. The Tuk Jiring park which started operations in 2009 serves pupils from 50 primary schools around Kuala Terengganu. -- BERNAMA
