Third World Nowrouz Festivity To Be Held In Tajikistan

Dushanbe, March 26, IRNA – The third world Nowrouz festivity will be held here on Sunday with participation of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Ahmadinejad, who is in Tajikistan, will deliver speech in Saman Palace on Sunday morning on the occasion of the third world Nowrouz festivity. President Ahmadinejad met President Imomali Rahmon in Dushanbe on Saturday and discussed issues of mutual interest with him. In the meeting, the two sides said that registering Nowrouz in the World Intellectual Heritage List and holding three rounds of world Nowrouz festivity is a witness to historical magnificence, glory and grandeur of Nowrouz. Meanwhile, Ahmadinejad inaugurated Iranian Cultural House in Dushanbe on Saturday. The first and second rounds of Nowrouz festivity were held in Tehran. President Ahmadinejad will also attend the fifth Afghanistan economic meeting during his 3-day visit to Dushanbe./end
