UAE starts the new year by supporting Aden police

ADEN, 3rd January, 2017 (WAM) -- Within the framework of the Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen to normalise life in the liberalised provinces in Yemen, the UAE started the new year 2017 by supporting Aden police to train the police personnel and build their capacities to perform their duties properly. Aden Police received new FJ vehicles recently, in addition to the 130 vehicles it received last year. Major General Shallal Ali Shayea, Aden’s Security Commander, praised the efforts of the UAE to support Aden Police during the previous period, stressing on UAE’s generosity and support to establish security and stability in Aden and the neighboring provinces, which had a very positive effect on security situation in Aden and the neighboring provinces. Shallal affirmed that they’re going to eliminate terrorism during the year 2017 and Aden would witness progress in all fields.
