ULAANBAATAR AND MIYAKONOJO TO EXPAND COOPERATION IN FOOD AND AGRICULTURE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ D.Bayanbat, Head of the Department of Food and Agriculture of Ulaanbaatar City, received Ishii Yoshihiro, Head of the Agricultural Division of Miyakonojo on November 28. At the meeting, Ishii Yoshihiro conveyed a greeting of Ikeda Takahisa, Mayor of Miyakonojo addressed to the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city and Governor of the Capital city. Miyakonojo has a goal to export its brand product- beef in foreign martkets and in the framework of it Miyakonojo beef will be served during the reception dedicated to the Emperior's Birthday by the Embassy of Japan in Ulaanbaatar. Therefore delegates from Miyakonojo are visiting Mongolia between November 27 and December 01 to attend the event, said Mr Ishii Yoshihiro. Mr D.Bayanbat said that he Department of Food and Agriculture of Ulaanbaatar City has intension to collaborate in agriculture sector, also expressing his hope that cooperation of the two cities will broaden in all sectors further. Miyakonojo is the first city among other cities of Japan, which Ulaanbaatar city established the friendship ties in 1999.
