UN invites Iran to Syria constitutional talks

Tehran, Aug 24, IRNA – Staffan de Mistura, UN Special Envoy for Syria, has invited Iran, Russia and Turkey for talks about a new constitutional law for Syria, a UN spokesman announced on Friday. The talks are scheduled to be held in Geneva on September 11-12. The talks aim to discuss setting up a commission for presenting a new constitutional law for Syria. The talks will be held at the same time that the UN holds talks with other countries like the United States.
