Venezuelan Charge D'affaires Calls On Malaysian Minister

KUALA LUMPUR, April 7 (Bernama) -- Venezuelan Chargé d'Affaires to Malaysia Morella Antoni Barreto López paid a courtesy call on the Malaysian Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin recently. According to a statement from the Venezuelan Embassy in Malaysia, during the meeting at the minister's office, Zuraida and Lopez discussed the potentials and possibilities for new collaboration between both countries – particularly in the subject of housing development as well as strengthening the existing bilateral relations between Malaysia and Venezuela that spans over three decades. The Venezuelan Embassy also gave a presentation to the minister on the scope, achievement and the establishment of the development of Venezuela's social housing mission, ‘the Great Mission Housing Venezuela’. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on Dec 18, 1986. -- BERNAMA
