Vote Of No Confidence Against FROC Director

Jamaluddin Muhammad BANGKOK, Nov 19 (Benama) – The opposition has filed a motion to pass a vote of no confidence against Justice Minister Pol Gen Pracha Promnok, who is also the Director of the Flood Relief Operation Command (FROC) for alleged corruption in handling flood relief bags. Opposition Chief Whip, Democrat Member of Parliament Jurin Laksanavisit today submitted the impeachment motion signed by 153 opposition MPs. House Speaker Somsak Kiartsuranon acknowledged that the house received the motion and expected it to be debated by end of this month. Prior to this, the opposition had claimed that the price of the relief bag prepared by the government was not commensurate with its content value while Pracha denied the allegation.
