WFP Executive Director and His Party Visit Various Places

Pyongyang, May 11 (KCNA) -- David Muldrow Beasley, executive director of the World Food Programme, and his party visited the Tower of the Juche Idea on May 10. Being briefed on the ideological and theoretical exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, they went round the body of the tower and group of sculptures. They went up to the tower observation platform to have a bird's eye view of Pyongyang. Earlier, they toured the Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory, the Monument to the Three Charters for National Reunification and WFP projects in Sinwon County, South Hwanghae Province. This day the WFP executive director hosted a reception in connection with his DPRK visit. -0-
