Youth Parliament Will Inspire Moulding Of Leadership, Entrepreneurship Among Youths

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 28 (Bernama) -- The Youth Parliament, which will be set up next year, can inspire development of leadership and entrepreneurship among Malaysian youths, said Malaysian Youth Council (MBM) chairman Mohamed Maliki Mohamed Rapiee. He said the Youth Parliament could foster such development as it was a platform for youths to voice their opinions and issues affecting them in the country. "In giving youths the opportunity to voice out, it will also educate them on their responsibility as leaders," he said when contacted by Bernama on Wednesday. The establishment of the Youth Parliament is one of the six core thrusts in youth development announced by Prime Minister Najib Razak during Youth Day in May. -- BERNAMA Malaysia
