Hyundai Elevators CO intends to make Kyrgyzstan its central market in Asia

BishkekJune 22, 2023. / Kabar/. South Korean company Hyundai Elevators CO intends to make Kyrgyzstan its central market in Asia.

Rakhat Zhunushbayeva, Director General of Hyundai Elevators LLC, told reporters that representatives of Hyundai Elevators have been working in the Kyrgyz market for more than 14 years, and they have been the official distributor of the company for 10 years - since 2013.

“This year marks 10 years of our cooperation. During this period, a lot has been done - in many large strategic projects in Kyrgyzstan, our company participated as a supplier of equipment. To date, we have trained more than 50 specialists in the maintenance and modernization of elevators. We are planning to open classrooms in vocational schools in the near future. To do this, specialists from a South Korean company will be sent here and train those who wish. We occupy a leading position in the Kyrgyz market in this narrow industry and plan to develop and increase the volume of product supplies,” she said.

The regional leader in the CIS, Russia and Europe of Hyundai Elevators CO., LTD Jung Ji Hoon added that the company also occupies a leading position in Korea. It was established back in 1984 and at first actively developed only in the domestic market of the country, and then began to conquer external world markets, including Kyrgyzstan.

“One of our main goals is to become the best company in Korea and start investing in overseas companies. We plan to develop Kyrgyzstan as a central market in Asia. Now our annual turnover is 20 billion dollars a year, by 2030 we intend to reach 50 billion dollars a year and become one of the top five elevator manufacturers in the world,” said the regional director.

According to the director of overseas sales department Shim Gyu-hoon, at the moment their company serves 150,000 elevators throughout South Korea. He also promised to make every effort to cooperate with Kyrgyzstan.
