Indonesian Female Pilgrim Saved After 8-minute Cardiac Arrest

Madinah, June 14, 2023, SPA -- The medical teams at the Control Center of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport in Madinah successfully saved the life of an Indonesian female pilgrim whose heart had stopped after the aircraft landed. According to the Madinah Health Cluster, upon receiving information about a fainting case in the arrival hall, medical teams quickly responded and rushed to the scene. Upon assessment, it was discovered that the woman had experienced a cardiac arrest. The medical teams at the cluster immediately performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the woman twice, restoring her heartbeat.
The woman was transferred to the hospital where her condition was reported to be stable.
