Iraqi Football Association Discusses The Requirements Of The Youth Team With The Vice-Chairman Of The Organizing Committee For The Youth World Cup

Baghdad / NINA /- The President of the Iraqi Football Association, "Adnan Darjal", met today, Monday, the Italian "Roberto" and the French "Nicolas", the vice-chairman of the organizing committee for the U-20 World Cup, in the presence of the head of the delegation of our youth team, Muhammad Nasser.

A statement from the Iraqi Football Association stated, “The meeting discussed some of the points and observations that the Iraqi delegation submitted to the organizing committee, as well as to the International Federation of Football Associations, in order to avoid them. In addition to some special requirements that must be met by the Iraqi delegation participating in the World Cup finals, where the Vice-Chairman of the Organizing Committee promised to avoid some of the mistakes that occurred, and he also promised to provide some of the requirements that were demanded by the Iraqi delegation, which did not exist, although they are at the core of the criteria for hosting the Grand International Forum.

The statement indicated that the vice-chairman of the organizing committee indicated that moving the tournament from Indonesia to Argentina did not leave much room for the host country to avoid mistakes in a short time, and made it not meet some of the special requirements for that tournament, which generated some confusion and objections by the participating teams./ End
