Iraqi Prime Minister Praises Qatar's Pioneering Experiences in Successful Investments

Baghdad, August 25 (QNA) - Iraq's Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani on Friday praised Qatar's pioneering experiences in successful investments, and the cooperation between his country and the State of Qatar, stressing that the promising cooperation between the two countries started effectively following the latest visit of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, to Baghdad.
This came during the ceremony of laying of the foundation stone for a huge tourism complex -comprising large hotel, a residential complex and various tourist facilities- carried by the Qatar's 'Investment Holding Group', in central Baghdad. Al-Sudani considered this project the first for Qatari investments in Iraq, lauding the pioneering companies and experiences Qatar possesses in successful investments.
He pointed out that this project would be the first within the context of cooperation between Iraq and Qatar, and would be followed by other projects in various sectors.
He also pointed to the promising investment opportunities that Iraq possesses, adding that his government is keen to provide the necessary support and facilities for investors.
Al Sudani explained that his government deems Arab investment as one of the gateways to economic integration. (QNA)
