KSrelief Provides Financial Support to People Affected by Cyclone Freddy in Malawi

Lilongwe, October 10, 2023, SPA -- A team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) recently visited the Republic of Malawi to deliver $500,000 in financial support to assist the victims of Cyclone Freddy. This cyclone caused significant loss of lives and property in the country. The Commissioner for the Department of Disaster Management Affairs, Charles Kalemba received the aid on behalf of the Malawian government in the capital city of Lilongwe.
Kalemba expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince for their humanitarian assistance to Malawi. He also commended the positive role played by KSrelief in improving the living conditions of those affected by the cyclone in Malawi.
This financial support is part of the ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts extended by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to help countries and people affected by disasters worldwide.
