Altaistic Conference kicks off in Bishkek

Bishkek, Aug. 27, 2018. / Kabar /. Over 150 scientists from all over the world gathered in Bishkek to participate in the Permanent International Altaistic Conference, which has started today. The solemn opening of discussions has started at Ala-Archa state residence and then the conference will continue its work in Issyk-Kul at the location of the World Nomad Games. Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulmira Kudaiberdieva said that holding of the conference was planned for the most expecting event for nomadic peoples. "It is dedicated to the Altai civilization, to all the peoples of the Altaic language family, so today our scientists have something to talk about. I think there will be very interesting presentations prepared by scientists from all over the world, "she said. The conference is organized jointly by the President's Office, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Muras Foundation and other organizations. In total, 160 scientists take part in it, of which 80 came from foreign countries.
