BOOK ON MONGOLIA LAUNCHED IN INDIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian Embassy in India launched a book named ‘Mongolia: Land of the Blue Sky’ on November 24. The book was published on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of Proclamation Day and Adoption of the first Constitution of Mongolia which falls on November 26 every year. Ambassador of Mongolia to India G.Ganbold opened the launch ceremony, which was attended by representatives of the diplomatic missions in New Delhi and people who has business and other connections with Mongolia. “Mongolia and India both have ancient history and rich culture, brought together by spiritual, historical and cultural connections,” the Ambassador said, expressing Mongolia’s confidence that the long-standing traditional relations will flourish in times to come. The ‘Mongolia: Land of the Blue Sky’ book comprises articles, interviews with Indian Mongolists, data on trade, economic, investment, mining and industrial development, photographs featuring the traditional culture, customs, landscape and landmarks of Mongolia and a Mongolian poetry collection translated into English.
