Cooperative unions of Kyrgyzstan and India sign memorandum of understanding

Bishkek, Sept. 11, 2018. /Kabar/. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Cooperatives Union of Kyrgyzstan, the National Cooperative Union of India, and an Indian farmer cooperative that produces fertilizers in Bishkek. The document was signed within the International Forum on developing cooperatives.
“We are ready to cooperate with Kyrgyzstan. We will possibly build a factory for producing ecologically-clean biofertilizers in the future. We are ready to finance the project so that cooperatives in your country develop”, Dr. Chandra Pal Singh Yadav told.
President of the Cooperatives Union of Kyrgyzstan Nazik Beyshenaly told that the purpose of the forum is to build bridges between cooperatives of Kyrgyzstan and the international cooperative movement, that allow:
- to obtain results of expert evaluation and access to information on the peculiarities of the cooperative legislation, management, registration, record, accounting records, audit of cooperative organizations on the basis of the world experience;
- to acquire expert assistance and information for implementing the public policy for developing agricultural and consumers' cooperatives;
- training and exchange of experience on the basis of major cooperatives of Asian and other countries;
- coordination of initiatives of developing cooperatives with other Central Asian states.
