Bishkek, Mar.10, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, the national currency rate against the dollar does not exceed KGS 70. Thus, by Mar. 10, the official exchange rate of the National Bank is KGS 69.8 per dollar and KGS 79.67 per euro.
Commercial banks, according to their official websites, also do not see any decline in the KGS rate. All banks give KGS 69.8 for the purchase of one dollar and KGS 69.9 for the sale.
The other day there was a crush of the Russian ruble and the Kazakh tenge. Thus, in Russia, the dollar against the ruble rose to 75.5, and in Kazakhstan to KZT 400.
The fall in national currencies in Russia and Kazakhstan was caused by falling oil prices. The media report oil prices fell by 30%, which was the biggest crush since the Persian Gulf War in 1991.
The situation on the currency market of the country remains relatively stable, Kabar Agency has learnt from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
