Foreign Ministry advices Kyrgyzstanis to refrain from travelling to China, Japan, Korea, Italy and Iran

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic recommends Kyrgyzstanis temporarily refrain from travelling to China, Japan, Korea, Italy and Iran until the epidemiological situation, associated with the spread of coronavirus COVID-1, stabilizes. Those citizens who are currently in the above countries, the Foreign Ministry advises not to visit places of mass congestion and strictly follow the recommendations of local authorities and medical facilities, the press service of the ministry reported. "The work carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and overseas of the Kyrgyz Republic is coordinated by the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus in the Kyrgyz Republic. The Headquarters consists of heads of all relevant ministries and departments of the republic. As part of the activities of the HQ, monitoring of the situation with the spread of coronavirus both on the territory of Kyrgyzstan and on the territories of other states, where cases of citizens' infection with this virus have been recorded, is carried out operatively and round-the-clock. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and overseas of the Kyrgyz Republic also cooperate on a permanent basis with the Foreign Ministries of partner countries, relevant administrations of state and local authorities of foreign countries, as well as foreign diplomatic missions," the report says.
