GRV Hotel Starts CSR With Distribution Of Meat Curry For Ramadhan

KOTA BAHARU (Kelantan, Malaysia), July 21 (Bernama) -- The Grand Riverview Hotel (GRV) here began distributing 300 packets of meat curry to Muslims for their first breaking of fast on Saturday, as part of its Ramadhan welfare service. The hotel's public relations manager, Raja Rusmin Raja Mahmud, said they used to give out the 'lambuk' porridge previously but decided on a different dish this year. She told Bernama that the hotel would distribute the packets of curry in front of the hotel at Jalan Post Office Lama (Old Post Office Road) from 5.30 pm to the time of breaking fast, throughout the month of Ramadhan. "This is part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) during Ramadhan every year leading up to Hari Raya (Eid ul-Fitr)," she added. Raja Rosmin also said the underprivileged, such as orphans and the disabled would be given the opportunity to stay a night and break fast at the hotel, toexperience its four-star facility. Religious talks and prayers would also be held during the time, she said. -- BERNAMA
