Kyrgyzstan, Belarus discuss transport cooperation

Bishkek, Mar.11, 2020 /Kabar/. Mayor of the Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek Aziz Surakmatov and Ambassador of Belarus to Kyrgyzstan Andrey Strachko discussed cooperation in transport and public utilities development. Aziz Surakmatov noted in Bishkek, comprehensive work is being done to reform public transport, the press service of the Mayor’s Office reported. "The first priority is to make the industry profitable," he said. In turn, Andrey Strachko expressed intention of the Belarusian manufacturers to participate in the tender of the Mayor’s Office for the purchase of 100 large environmentally friendly buses. The sides also discussed the possibility of creating enterprises for the assembly of trolleybuses and elevators.
