Military delegation of Kazakhstan arrives in Kyrgyzstan for official visit for the first time

Bishkek, July 25, 2018. / Kabar /. A military delegation of Kazakhstan arrived in Kyrgyzstan. The arrival of the military delegation of the neighboring country is the first official visit in the history of Kyrgyz-Kazakh relations from the moment of gaining independence. The military delegation of Kazakhstan, led by Minister of Defense of the Republic, Colonel-General Saken Zhasuzakov, arrived in Bishkek on July 25 and met with President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov. Today the delegation met with chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, Major-General Rayimberdi Duishenbiev. During the talks, the sides will discuss the situation in the Central Asian region, exchange experience in the construction of the armed forces of the two states and issues of ensuring joint security. As a result of the dialogue, an agreement on cooperation in the field of military intelligence between the governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan is expected to be signed.
