PM's Wife Receives Courtesy Call From Wives Of Foreign Ministers Attending AMM/Related Meetings

PUTRAJAYA (Malaysia), Aug 5 (Bernama) -- The Prime Minister's wife Rosmah Mansor Tuesday received a courtesy call from wives of foreign ministers attending the 48th ASEAN Foreign Ministers Meeting (AMM) and Related Meetings. Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah, the wife of Brunei's Foreign Minister; Nguyen Nguyet Nga (Vietnam); Naly Sisoulith (Laos) and Hulya Cavusoglu (Turkey) were also feted to a tea reception by Rosmah. Also present were Women, Family and Community Development Minister Rohani Abdul Karim and Rubiah Abdul Samad and Ismalina Ismail, who are the wives of Malaysia's Foreign Minister and Deputy Foreign Minister respectively. The guests also got to sample local fruits. They were also entertained to cultural performances by Permata Seni, a brainchild of Rosmah to unearth children talented in the arts. Prime Minister Najib Razak opened the 48th AMM at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur Tuesday. The meetings which started on Saturday (Aug 1) end on Thursday (Aug 6). -- BERNAMA
