Premiere of Kyrgyz film “Aurora” at Busan International Film Festival

Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2018. /Kabar/. The world premiere of Kyrgyz film “Aurora” was held at the 23rd International Film Festival in Busan, the Department of Cinematography of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The work of the director Bekzat Pirmatov was submitted for the main competition program “New Trends in Cinema”.
The Kyrgyz film takes part in the main competition program of the Busan International Film Festival for the first time. Films by Aktan Arym Kubat, Marat Sarulu, Ernest Abdyzhaparov and Taalaibek Kulmendeev were shown in the official out-of-competition program “A Window on Asian Cinema”, as well as the guests were shown “Song of the Tree” by Aibek Daiyrbekov.
The Busan International Film Festival (South Korea) is recognized as the most important demonstration platform for professionals from all over the world. Every year the Busan International Film Festival presents about 270 films from more than 180 countries of the world. World or International premiere of about a third of them are held there. Every year up to 7 thousand film professionals, as well as 1 thousand 700 representatives of the press participate in the festival and film market..
