Qatar Charity donates 100 wheelchairs to Ministry of Social Development

Bishkek, July 24, 2018 / Kabar /. The Ministry of Labor and Social Development received 100 wheelchairs from Qatar Charity. Minister of Labor and Social Development Taalaygul Isakunova said that within the framework of the Memorandum on cooperation in the social sphere signed with this organization in Nov. 2017, the first batch of wheelchairs for people with disabilities was provided. During this year the charitable organization will provide 900 more wheelchairs. To date, the Ministry with the participation of member of the Kyrgyz Parliament will distribute wheelchairs for Bishkek and Chui oblast. Thus, MP Elvira Surabaldieva handed over the wheelchairs to eight persons with limited health. Also, MP Urmatbek Samaev delivered to the house and handed over ten wheelchairs. The Ministry of Labor and Social Development reported that the wheelchairs will be distribute in other regions of the republic as well.
