Students returned from China’s Urumqi to Kyrgyzstan released after quarantine

Bishkek, Feb.26, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, Feb. 26, after a 14-day mandatory quarantine, 40 Kyrgyz citizens (students) who have arrived from the city of Urumqi (China) have been released home in satisfactory condition, the press service of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry reported. "All of them, after passing the necessary test at the Ak-Zhol checkpoint, were quarantined at temporary observation points, and during the quarantine students were twice checked for symptoms of the new coronavirus - the results of tests are negative," the report says. During the quarantine period only medical workers were in contact with them. Note that on Feb. 13, 2020, 40 Kyrgyz students, located in Urumqi, were taken in special buses to Bishkek from Kazakhstan’s Almaty, where they arrived with the help of the Kazakh side.
