VAT REFUNDS EXPECTED WITHIN FIRST QUARTER OF 2018

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 20 percent Value-added Tax (VAT) refund for the purchases of 2017 will be issued within the first quarter of this year. In compliance with the VAT Law of Mongolia, consumers receive a 20 percent refund for their purchased services and goods in a given year. Users registered on ‘ebarimt’ online system and confirmed their identity details will thus receive their refunds within the first quarter of 2018. Receipts issued before midnight on December 31 must be registered within the first five working days of January. Kh.Aminaa
