Longstanding Bahrain-Saudi historic ties praised

Manama, July 25 (BNA): Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa commended deep-rooted historic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He praised joint ties which are based on solid cooperation and common action to further development at all levels, in light of the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
He noted the commitment and keenness of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to further bolster joint ties.
He made the statement as he received, in the presence of Cabinet Affairs Minister Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), currently on visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Minister and the SFD Chief discussed cooperation pathways between the two countries in the financial and economic sectors, commending Saudi support to development projects which contributed to spurring growth, thus reflecting longstanding ties and common GCC work.
The Minister of Finance stressed the importance of further reinforcing cooperation conducive to achieving common goals and aspirations, commending the role of Saudi Fund for Development in following up and implementing the Saudi grant as part of the Gulf Development Programme, as well as other projects.
