Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Phone Call from UAE Counterpart

Riyadh, April 24, 2023, SPA -- Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs received a phone call today from Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates.
During the call, the UAE Minister congratulated the Saudi Minister on the successful evacuation of Saudi citizens and citizens of brotherly and friendly countries from Sudan. He also commended the Kingdom for its role in evacuating UAE citizens during the ongoing operations.
The two ministers discussed international efforts to address the situation in Sudan and appropriate ways to prevent escalation and violence while protecting civilians.
