The Minister Of Interior Discusses With The Ambassadors Of China And Syria Strengthening The Bonds Of Cooperation

Baghdad / NINA / - The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, discussed today, Saturday, with the ambassadors of the People's Republic of China and Syria to Iraq, strengthening relations and strengthening the bonds of cooperation.

 

A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated that, "The Minister of Interior, Abdu al-Amir al-Shammari, met with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Iraq, and discussed with him a number of issues of common interest, related to the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries."

 

The Minister of Interior affirmed, "There is a great interest by the competent agencies in the Ministry of Interior to provide the appropriate environment for the work of Chinese companies in Iraq, especially the oil ones."

 

For his part, the Chinese ambassador praised "the Iraqi people and the relations that bind Iraq with China," appreciating "the great development on the security level and facilitating the entry and exit of the Chinese working in companies and other places inside Iraq."

 

The statement indicated that "the Minister of Interior, Abdu al-Amir al-Shammari, also met in his office with the Syrian ambassador to Iraq, and discussed with him a number of issues of mutual interest, foremost of which is coordination and joint cooperation between the two countries."

 

During the meeting, the minister praised the "close relationship between Iraq and Syria."

 

For his part, the Syrian ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Interior for his "great interest in developing bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation."/ End
